This is a brand new Financial Controller opportunity working for a highly successful, international PE backed business based in Selby!Reporting to the FD, the role will be responsible for ensuring financial control across the function and accounting processes, including international accounting & reporting, statutory accounts preparation, audit support and cashflow forecasting.***The role would be ideally suited to a 2nd or 3rd time mover from practice (ACA/ACCA) looking for a step into a Financial Controller role**The key duties of the role will include:
  • Production of Group statutory accounts
  • Managing the audit
  • European & US reporting & compliance
  • Financial accounting expertise into management information
  • Financial modelling to facilitate reporting
  • Group accounts consolidation
  • PE Investor reporting and analysis
  • Managing the budget and reforecasting process
  • Support business M&A growth plans
  • Process improvements by challenging “business as usual”
  • Ensure & develop financial control
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory Bodies and accounting standards
  • Support ongoing ERP functionality improvements
The successful candidate will:
  • Be fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, QBE will also be considered - Essential
  • Have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience
  • Have good knowledge of IFRS
  • Have strong financial reporting skills (Forecasting / Performance analysis)
