Logistics Coordinator

The Best Connection are looking to recruit aEuropean Operations Co-ordinatorfor ourwell established client located in Selby on apermanentbasis.

What to expect:

• Positive team environment working in a bright, modern office
• Extensive client liaison, building relationships and maximising the potential of the European Road freight clients business
• Extensive supplier liaison to develop reliable and cost effective European services
• Calculating freight quotations for export and import freight shipments
• Completing operational administration including job cards and sending booking confirmation to the suppliers
• Raising all of the appropriate operational documentation including customs clearance formalities
• Managing the European road freight consignments in transit through to successful completion and delivery
• Invoicing out and completing the job files

What the successful applicant needs:

• A minimum of 3 years freight forwarding experience in European Road Freight is essential
• An understanding of the post Brexit European customs clearance requirements
• Confident, with clear communication skills
• Proven success of building customer and supplier relationships
• Strong negotiating skills
• Numerate with experience of calculating freight quotations
• Good IT (Microsoft) skills

Pay & Benefits:

• Up to £35,000 Per annum. Subject to experience
• Monday to Friday 08:00 17:30
