About the Role:
We are seeking motivated and adaptable KS2 Supply Teachers to provide high-quality teaching across various primary schools in the Selby area. As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of schools and students, delivering engaging lessons and supporting the educational journey of children in Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons, adapting quickly to the needs of each class.
- Support children's learning in line with the KS2 curriculum, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and learning.
- Collaborate effectively with school staff and follow each school's policies.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, supportive environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to new settings.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a passion for teaching and inspiring children.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
