Energy Services Project Administrator

Adecco is looking for an experienced and driven Administrator for our high-end utilities client who is the UK's largest source of renewable electricity! General Duties

  • Organising internal and external project meetings, including diary management, and setting up conference calls.
  • Assisting in the management of project communications, including the project mailbox.
  • Supporting the project team by collating and managing feedback during the procurement process.
  • Managing and maintaining core project documentation.
  • Arranging meetings, visits, and conference calls with stakeholders.
  • Taking accurate minutes, recording actions, and following up on progress.
  • Managing filing systems and technical documents.
  • Using IT systems such as Maximo, data-port, and Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Dealing with purchasing queries and invoices.
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative duties and task support to the team.
  • Analysing data for monthly reports and functional dashboards.
  • Ensuring compliance records are maintained and any non-compliance areas are raised promptly.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service with a positive and can-do attitude.

Essential skills and experience required.

  • Educated to a good standard, preferably A levels, including a minimum of Maths and English GCSE grade C or above.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of IT systems such as Maximo and data-port
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good prioritisation, coordination, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and confident with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and can handle data with confidentiality.

Desirable skills

  • Exposure to project management would be advantageous.
  • Able to type 80 words per minute.
  • Proficient in shorthand
