Experienced Controls Engineer sought to work in Smart Agriculture and Vertical Farming
The Role
This innovative team create, install and maintain automated climate control systems for commercial glasshouses and they are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to grow their team. It's 70% site-based, 30% office/home-based with optional out of hours work.
Key Duties
- Program and commission Priva BMS (system specific training will be provided)
- Integrate controls with electrical and irrigation systems using Modbus, Bacnet, or Canbus protocols
- Develop custom control solutions
- Provide technical support to clients
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years BMS/controls experience
- Strong technical background
- Problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence; you will be working accross the UK from a Yorkshire, Midlands or Newcastle region base.
Their Projects are all related to large commercial glasshouses which are used for everything from vegetable production to medicinal plants. Their clients range from commercial growers to universities and research bodies; no two are the same and they all value the systems you bring.
