The role is working for a subsidiary of an international transport and logistics PLC. Based at their Selby site the role involves developing new business and negotiating competative quotes forair road and sea freight.
You will be involved in trial bookings and developing and nuturing new relationships as well as maintaining existing relationships.
Recording and presenting sales data and supporting colleagues in all aspects of sales development.
You must have a proven business acumen and experience of cold calling. A confident and clear communicator with excellent customer service experience. Good IT skills and great attention to detail. Self motivated and quick thinking with ability to solve problems and support the team.
