Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Selby and Surrounding Areas

Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for the flexibility of supply work? We are seeking dedicated HLTAs to support primary schools across Selby, delivering high-quality support to pupils and teachers on a supply basis.

About the Role

As an HLTA, you will:

  • Provide classroom support and cover for teachers when required.
  • Deliver small group interventions or 1:1 support for pupils.
  • Support the delivery of engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt to various schools, classes, and year groups with confidence.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualifications.
  • Has previous experience working within primary education (EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2).
  • Is confident in delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Is adaptable, reliable, and passionate about supporting children's education.
