About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Deputy Manager to support a vibrant team in a children's residential home in Melksham. If you're currently a Senior Residential Support Worker with leadership aspirations or an experienced Deputy Manager seeking a fresh challenge, this is your opportunity to shine!
As a Deputy Manager, you will:
- Lead & Inspire: Provide guidance to your team, empowering them to achieve their best.
- Safeguard Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for the young people in your care.
- Oversee Operations: Support the Home Manager with staff supervision, training, and quality assurance.
- Drive Success: Contribute to financial and environmental management, ensuring the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Bring
At least 1 year of experience as a Senior Support Worker in a children's residential setting or previous experience as a Deputy Manager.
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being.
