About the job

As our new Production Operative at our Settle Dairy you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic Lacto-Free products. Working a rotating continental 12hr shift pattern covering both days and nights you will monitor the running of our production lines ensuring key targets are achieved. The shift pattern is over 4 weeks and includes 8 consecutive days off!

Responsibilities

Running of our production lines safely and efficiently to produce top quality products

Performing quality inspections on materials and finished product

Quality checks to include, codes, sealing and weights

Filling of trays, glues and caps

Reporting safety issues to maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings

Perform specified cleaning tasks as per our daily/monthly schedules.

What youll need in order to be successful in the role

Previous experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential

Previous experience with food safety regulations and practices would be beneficial but not essential

All training and support will be provided during your induction period

A motivated team player, who can work on their own initiative

Youre as serious about quality as we are and ready to work hard to achieve it

A good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills
