Senior Accountant 11 month FTC

Morgan McKinley are assisting a global business in the South East recruiting a Senior Accountant on an 11 month FTC.

This role is paying up to £60,000 per annum DOE with hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes in SAP, ensuring completion of journals, postings, and month-end steps.
• Manage monthly and year-end Group reporting, including SAP reconciliations.
• Supervise General Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions, ensuring policy adherence and timely payments
• Review Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet on a monthly basis
• Lead reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts monthly
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
• Prepare and submit statutory accounts, VAT, Payroll, and Corporation Tax filings
• Coordinate with external auditors for audit processes

Skills/Experience:

• Qualified ACCA, CIMA or CIMA with 5+ years PQE
• In-depth knowledge of SAP
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
