Accounts Assistant (Part-time), Sevenoaks - ÂŁDOE

My client is a leading company in the construction industry, delivering high-quality projects with a commitment to excellence and innovation.

You will play a key role in keeping financial operations running smoothly, supporting the business in managing accounts and ensuring accurate financial records.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage and coordinate purchase orders • Oversee staff and partner expenses• Input and process staff salaries• Administer life insurance and healthcare policies • Reconcile company credit card statements• Allocate costs and expenses to relevant projects or job numbers.• Handle partner and staff pension payments• Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.• Assist in the preparation of monthly finance packs for board meetings.• Liaise with UK and international bank accounts• Prepare draft year-end accounts for review by external accountants.• Collaborate with external accountants in the UK and overseas• Prepare annual budgets and cash flow forecasts in partnership with the Finance Director.• Reconcile accounts, VAT, and tax

About you:

• Previous experience in an accounts/finance role (construction industry experience is a plus!)• Proficiency in Sage and Excel• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail• Excellent organisational and communication skills• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
