A bit about the role:

  • The Design Manufacture Support Engineer will offer technical support and assistance for the in-house manufacturing and certification of electronic products.
  • You'll be engaged in the daily production process, working closely with a small team to ensure products meet technical standards and production timelines are adhered to. Additionally, there will be occasions where hands-on support in the production department will be required.
  • Youll play a key role in ensuring the products comply with relevant UK and European regulations, including UKCA, ATEX, REACH, RoHS, and specific requirements like Functional Safety (IEC61508 SC2).
  • Ensure that Installation, Operation, and Maintenance manuals (IOMs), supporting documents, work instructions, and certifications are accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Create necessary documentation and inspect final products to verify their compliance with ATEX standards.

Whats required:

  • A background in Industrial Electronics with experience of Design.
  • Understand ATEX requirements and legal compliance requirements.
  • IET Functional Safety knowledge.
  • Knowledge of UKCA, ATEX & PED.
  • Must be located in commutable distance to Swanley.
