Conrad Consulting is working with an innovative practice based on the outskirts of Sevenoaks, who are seeking a structural engineer to enhance their existing buildings structures design capability.

They invest in relationships, both with clients and their staff, making career development a pivotal part of your working life with them.

Their projects include high-end residential, leisure, commercial, data centres, hotels and more and are up to 60m in value.

The role:

  • Will see you working alongside more senior engineers who will assist you in technical aspects and support you
  • Once you have settled in, you will take ownership of your own projects
  • Requires collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Produce buildings structures design solutions, from concept to completion
  • Prepare calculations in Eurocodes, designing in all traditional materials
  • Attend meetings and site visits

About you:

  • Degree in civil or structural engineering
  • At least 2 years' design experience within a UK consultancy
  • Working knowledge of UK design and construction standards
  • Proficient in Tekla would be an advantage

The role also requires good communication and problem-solving skills.
