Delivery driver / Warehouse operativeA small but busy warehouse near Borough Green is looking for a delivery driver / warehouse operative working 40 hours per week, you will be reporting directly to the warehouse manager.

Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm with ½ hour lunch break.

Good rates of pay and benefits, 24 days holiday per annum.

As a delivery driver your duties will include: (approx. 40% of time)

Delivering our goods to selected customers in the company van, mainly local within 50 miles of the business, in and around London, whilst providing exceptional customer service.

As a warehouse operative your duties will include: (approx. 60% of time)

  • To provide an effective logistical service to ensure correct intake, picking and despatching of goods on a daily basis.
  • Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy liftingEnsure that products are off loaded, checked, stored and rotated correctly
  • Ensure the efficient and safe use of fork lift trucks and other manual handling equipment.
  • Working efficiently and effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Maintaining high levels of health and safety standards
  • Being adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy
  • Performing any reasonable request
  • General warehouse duties

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience of working in a warehouse environment and driving roles
  • Valid and clean driving licence
  • At least one years’ experience driving a reach and/or counterbalance truck with current valid licences.
