Sous Chef Ideal Profile:
- Experienced in a professional kitchen environment with strong culinary skills

- Highly organized with excellent leadership skills to support and mentor the kitchen team
- Skilled in menu planning, stock control, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communicator and team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth service
- Contributing to menu development with creative and authentic African-inspired dishes
- Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet high standards
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring cost-effective kitchen operations
- Maintaining strict hygiene and food safety regulations in line with industry standards
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
