BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Building Surveyor - Building Services, Property
 
As our Building Surveyor, your main responsibility will be to provide a full building surveying service to a range of clients across different sectors.
 
In addition to this your main duties will include:
· Providing professional building surveying duties including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, maintenance and refurbishment projects, schedules of condition, party wall awards.
· Working on a variety of projects valued up to £1 million in a range of properties including commercial, residential.
· Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new clients nationally and locally.
· Develop and maintain an up-to-date awareness of all necessary legislation
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Building Surveyor - Building Services, Property
 
As our new Building Surveyor, it would be advantageous if you have worked on a variety of projects covering condition surveys, dilapidations, project management, and building pathology. We are looking for someone who is engaging and eager to learn.
 
It is essential that you:
· A RIC's membership would be advantageous however support towards chartership will be provided.
· Degree in Building Surveying.
· Have a couple years of consultancy experience.
· Can confidently communicate with stakeholders both verbally and written.
· Hold a full UK driving licence.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Building Surveyor, Property, Construction, RICS, Senior Building Surveyor, Associate Director, Construction Consultancy, Dilapidations, Maintenance, Refurbishment projects, Party wall act, expert witness, residential, project management.
