The Business Development Executive will be responsible for handling inbound calls, emails, and live chat inquiries, providing information about our services and assisting clients with their needs. A key aspect of the role involves making outbound calls to prospective clients, introducing our services, and generating new business leads. This will require proactive market research and networking to identify potential opportunities.
A key part of this position involves contacting potential clients via phone and email to gauge interest and schedule meetings. The role also includes preparing client presentations and sales materials, negotiating business terms with both new and existing clients, and ensuring a seamless sales process from initial contact to deal closure. Strong relationship management is essential, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions and ongoing support.
The Business Development Executive will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective growth strategies. Achieving and exceeding sales targets is a fundamental aspect of this role, requiring a proactive and results-driven mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activities within the CRM system and staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Candidates should have proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the specialist or commercial cleaning industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with strong organisational and time management abilities. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is key, as is a willingness to work shift patterns, including evenings and weekends. Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
