We are recruiting in the South East for a knowledgeable Asbestos Contracts Manager, to oversee a varied portfolio of Asbestos Removals projects. You will be joining an industry-leading Asbestos and Compliance firm, with a growing client base and well-established team. The ideal candidate will have a professional and meticulous attitude towards providing a robust service to clients. Salaries will reflect the candidate's experience and knowledge and benefits include excellent training packages and a company pension scheme.
Our client can consider candidates who are based around: Sevenoaks, Snodland, Chatham, Sittingbourne, Maidstone, Gravesend, Dartford, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Oxted, Caterham, Redhill, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Faversham, Canterbury, Folkestone, Hythe, Broadstairs, Margate, Herne Bay, Tilbury, Grays, Epsom, Mitcham, Kingston upon Thames, Crawley, Haywards Heath, East Grinstead.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have a strong record of experience within the industry, managing a portfolio of removal contracts projects
- Excellent industry technical knowledge
- Strong client-facing skills
- Good written and IT skills
- Organised and good time keeping attitude
- Flexible and adaptable
- Comfortable overseeing teams of site staff
The Role:
- Overseeing the successful delivery of projects in line with KPIs and agreed scopes
- Managing site-wide compliance with industry guidelines and protocols
- Being the key point of contact for clients, answering any queries and providing advice and project updates
- Allocation of works to ensure smooth and efficient completion of works
- Attending site to assess works prior to projects beginning, undertaking risk assessments and outlining the scopes for works
- Writing tenders and producing competitive and bespoke quotations
- Assessing the performance of site operatives and identifying areas for improvement or training
- Reporting into company Directors to discuss projects
- Travelling to client sites as required
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
