An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Head of Drama (and/or Performing Arts) to join a highly successful and well-regarded school in Sevenoaks. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Drama and Performing Arts department, inspiring both students and staff
- Design and deliver an engaging curriculum that fosters creativity, confidence, and performance skills across all key stages
- Organize and oversee school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
- Monitor and support student progress, ensuring high achievement and participation in both Drama and Performing Arts
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance cross-curricular learning experiences
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be an inspirational teacher with proven experience in Drama and/or Performing Arts education
- Have leadership experience or a strong desire to take on a leadership role
- Demonstrate a track record of driving high standards in academic and extracurricular activities
- Be passionate about fostering creativity and self-expression in students of all abilities
- Have excellent organizational and communication skills
