Senior Electrical Design Engineer

The Company:

One of our great clients in Kent who specialise in Building Services Engineering is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. They are a team ofproject managers, building services engineers, cost managers and fire engineers working within the UK and throughout Europe. They specialise in a variety of different projects such as data centres, residential, commercial and warehouses.

The Job Description for Senior Electrical Design Engineer

• You will work on a varied portfolio of projects in building services that span a cross-section of sectors with specific local focuses on data centres, residential, commercial and warehouses.
• Contribute to the professional development of individual team members
• You will have the opportunity to lead electrical services design on large projects and lead overall MEP on small to medium sized projects within the office.
• Responsible for dealing successfully with Clients and other professionals.
• You will support the Electrical Designdevelopment of initial engineering concepts through to the delivery of detailed designs and specifications.
• Undertake site surveys and investigations, and see your designs become a reality.
• You will be encouraged to contribute to developing new and innovative ways of working with a strong emphasis on developing your own digital skills.
• Develop an awareness of construction procurement routes, project management skills and financial acumen.
• You will be designing power and lighting systems for different types of buildings

Job requirements:

• At least 5 years post grad exposure within the Building Services field
• Good communications skills and written English
• Have good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. You will be working on the projects from start to finish.
• Must have a driving licence.
• Degree qualified in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
