Reed HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join the team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing complex employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide expert advice and support on a range of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and redundancy.
  • Work closely with HR and management teams to ensure employee relations cases are managed effectively.
  • Develop and implement employee relations policies to ensure they are compliant with current legislation.
  • Lead training sessions for managers on employee relations topics to enhance their understanding and skills.
  • Monitor trends in employee behaviour and relations to proactively address issues and improve workplace culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations role.
  • Dealing with complex cases.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
