Manufacturing Supervisor - Maidstone - 40,000-45,000 PA - Training - Great Benefits

Location: Maidstone, Kent
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our growing team and oversee daily operations in our cold forging department. You'll lead a team of technicians, ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, and driving a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, train, and provide support to team members in cold forging operations.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure targets for quality, safety, and efficiency are consistently met.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address technical challenges effectively.
  • Enforce and uphold safety protocols within the department.
  • Perform inspections using precision measuring tools and analyse measurement data to verify compliance with quality standards.

About You:

  • Background in toolmaking, CNC machining, or a related field (cold forging experience is an advantage but not essential).
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools and interpreting technical data.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality regulations within a production setting.
