HCR is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for a non-profit launching their newly converted nursing home. Join us on this exciting journey as we transition to enhanced care. We need an experienced Senior Care Assistant with a background in elderly residential care. The Senior Care Assistant will lead and mentor the daycare team, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care.

Senior Care Assistant Duties:

  • Prioritise resident welfare
  • Administer medication safely
  • Update care plans for the "Resident of the Day"
  • Guide the team on correct care plan updates
  • Conduct supervision monthly
  • Support the Head of Care by upholding home policies
  • Step in during management absences

Senior Care Assistant Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent
  • Competent in medication management
