SEND Teaching Assistant - up to £20,200 pa

We are working with a school that have a genuine passion for giving children the tools they need to succeed in life. Our client has a modern purpose build school with a very friendly environment where people love to work.

The school have state of the art equipment and are creative with their lessons. They are exceeding in all areas which reflects in the development of the students.

You will be required to support the Teacher and work directly with students either in small groups or on a 1.1 basis. Secondary phase, Year 7 - 11

The ideal candidate would have:

At least 1 year’s experience working in UK secondary schools directly with SEND students (essential)
NVQ Level 2 or higher in relevant field (desirable)
DBS Update Service (desirable)
Availability - 5 day per week
Patience
Understanding of what SEND students need to excel
