We are working with a leading manufacturer of Calibration Instruments used in temperature, pressure, and flow measurement across a variety of industries. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Design Support Engineer to join their Engineering Services team based in Sevenoaks, Kent.Salary & Benefits: £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experienceType: Permanent, 4 ½ day working week, Hybrid occasionallyKey Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day manufacture of electronic products, ensuring technical compliance with standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical support to sales, production, and customers (occasional site visits may be required).
  • Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and cost reduction.
  • Design and implement transitions from prototype to production, including test benches for higher volumes.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of manufactured transmitters and manage the training of production personnel.
Required Experience:
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing, with a focus on electronic products
  • BEng in Electrical engineering.
  • IET Functional Safety.
  • Electronic engineering apprenticeship.
  • Educated to A level standard.
  • CAD (ideally SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge of UKCA, ATEX & PED.
