We are looking for an experienced Third-Party Motor Claims Handler to join our Third-Party Damage Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving Claims Department, and we invite applications from candidates with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in Motor claims.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a portfolio of Third Party claims from notification through to settlement. A working knowledge of Indemnity, the RTA and the Highway Code is essential.
Full training and continuous coaching will be provided to help you to achieve your full potential.
Role: Third Party Damage Claims Handler
Workinghours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: Between £24,255 to £31,000 plus an achievable £1,500 performance related bonus per annum, paid quarterly once established within your role.
What you will be doing:
- Thorough investigation of liability following a road traffic collision
- Accurate quantum assessment of third-party vehicle damages using the relevant tools
- Application of accurate reserves in line with company guidelines
- Proactive settlement of claims in line with best practice and key strategies
- Validate all motor claims for indemnity and fraud
- Effective file and portfolio management
- Any other Ad hoc task as the needs of the business dictate
- Accountability for own performance against set objectives
