Assistant Employers Agent Job in Sevenoaks

Assistant Employers Agent job in Sevenoaks, Kent, for a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering residential development, affordable housing and regeneration projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin or progress a career in project management or employer's agent work, with full training and support from an experienced team.

The consultancy provides project management, cost consultancy, design management and surveying services for a wide range of clients, including developers, housing associations, local authorities and registered providers. They operate across South and Southeast London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and Hampshire.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Team Leader and Delivery Director to support the delivery of new build residential projects
  • Assist in pre-contract and post-contract administration
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, developers, Clerk of Works and other key stakeholders
  • Attend site meetings, take minutes and assist in reporting
  • Help prepare notices, certificates and payments
  • Support with drawing reviews, NDSS assessments and benchmarking
  • Assist with tender processes and procurement of consultants
  • Carry out interim inspections, snagging, handover and end of defect visits
  • Work to internal quality management systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent qualification (other backgrounds considered)
  • Previous office experience, ideally in a construction-related setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Interest in residential development and construction project delivery
  • A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to learn.
