JOB REF: 215298873TITLE: Education / Public Law Disputes LawyerPQE: 6+LOCATION: KentSALARY: £85-95K (DOE)THE ROLE:This well regarded firm are seeking a Senior Lawyer to join their Public Law team to assist and supervise matters related to student issues and education disputes work, with a particular focus on Disability, SEN, and SEND Tribunal and advocacy work. The role involves managing your own caseload, which will also include advising on parental complaints, safeguarding issues, mental health, sexual misconduct allegations, discrimination, and complaints to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator. You will also assist the team with complex cases, and supervise junior staff as needed. You will provide strategic advice and actively contribute to business development, marketing, and networking initiatives.THE CANDIDATE:Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with at least 6 years’ PQE gained at a reputable regional or city firm / specialist practice. You must have extensive technical experience in SEND work, Tribunals, High Court Litigation, Mediation, and Advocacy, along with a keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work.
