Interim HR Officer/HR Coordinator
- Day Rate: £120-£148 per day (could be more via Umbrella)

Reed HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking a temporary HR Officer/HR Coordinator to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who is efficient, organised, and has a strong background in human resources with a few years’ experience. The successful candidate will support our HR department in day-to-day operations as well as various project-based work.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist with recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, and organising candidate interviews.
- Support the HR team in the administration of HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and new starter packs.
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Help organise training & development initiatives.
- Provide payroll processing backup support.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves.
- Coordinate meetings and interviews etc..
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, HR officer or other HR position at this level.
- Knowledge of HR functions (payroll & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
- Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- HR credentials (e.g. CIPD qualified or working towards it) are preferred.
