An independent school in Sevenoaks are looking for an exceptional year 4 Teacher .This role will be 2.5 days a week starting January 2025 ending July 2025.

As a Year 4 teacher, you will support students in their learning and development, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Your role will be to help students build their confidence and enhance their academic abilities.

Key responsibilities as a Year 4 Teacher:

  • Regularly assessing student work, providing feedback, and tracking progress to identify areas of improvement.
  • Establishing a classroom that is inclusive where students feel valued and motivated.
  • Maintaining good behaviour and discipline in the classroom through clear expectations and positive reinforcement.
  • Tailoring lessons to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
  • Working in accordance with the legal requirements and policies of the school.

Requirement:

  • Hold QTS.
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Strong knowledge of the key stage 2 curriculum.
  • Previous experience working as an outstanding teacher.
  • Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
