An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a background in Commercial Construction to join a renowned main contractor who specialise in steel frame projects. This role offers variety alongside good progression routes.

Specialists Steel Frame Buildings within the Industrial and Commercial sectors, this Main contractor have built a strong reputation for high quality projects from concept through to completion. Thriving in a competitive market, this company have achieved remarkable year-on-year growth, doubling it's turnover annually. As a result they are now expanding their Commercial department to support their continued success and ambitious growth plans.
In this role you will be both office based in Sevenoaks while conducting site visits along the M25 corridor. You will manage projects ranging from £50K to £10M, taking responsibility for estimating, preparing take-offs from drawings, and creating bills of quantities. Additionally, you will oversee monthly valuations, handle variations, and manage the process through to final accounts.

The ideal candidate will have prior Quantity Surveying experience, particularly on commercial projects, and be eager to contribute to a reputable main contractor's success. The role:

• Quantity Surveyor
• Commercial Projects - Industrial and steel frame
• Producing BOQs, Estimating for projects and producing take offs
• Overseeing Cost control, dealing with variations and sub-contractor payments
• Working on projects through to final accounts

The person:

• QS experience
• Commercial Construction background
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Proficient in Excel
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
• Looking for progression
