The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to the successful delivery of residential projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are managed effectively. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting to senior management.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
