We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a large residential developer with an impressive portfolio of projects and secured land in Kent and Sussex for the next 2 to 3 years.

The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to the successful delivery of residential projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are managed effectively. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute directly to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Oversee the procurement process, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting to senior management.
Conduct risk assessments and implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential construction sector.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
