Lettings Portfolio Manager

Our clients are a leading independent estate agent, established over 35 years ago and are owned by an Employee Ownership Trust. They have a passion for property and providing an unrivalled service to their clients, specialising in sales, lettings and property management.

An exciting position has become available for an experienced Lettings professional to join their friendly team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is seeking to further their career with a company that cares for its employees.

We are seeking a competent ARLA Qualified Lettings Professional who will be capable of increasing overall instruction levels whilst running an established portfolio of circa 80+ managed properties, 30+ let-only properties, as well as oversee a further two smaller portfolios in nearby areas which are managed in branch by experienced Lettings Negotiators.

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday.

Lettings Portfolio Manager - Role Responsibilities:

  • The ability to generate and win business from both Landlords and Tenants
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
  • Providing consistently high levels of service and communication
  • Knowing a client’s requirements to ensure efficient service
  • Arranging and carrying out valuations
  • Organising and accompanying viewings
  • Obtaining viewing feedback and negotiating lets
  • Processing referencing
  • Preparing tenancy agreements & renewal agreements when required
  • Ability to serve Section 21, Section 13 and Section 8 notices.
  • Arranging and carrying out valuations
  • Arranging: gas safety checks, EICRs, EPCs and maintaining compliance
  • There is no need to coordinate any maintenance enquiries as this is controlled by another team

Lettings Portfolio Manager - Role Requirements:

  • ARLA qualified with at least five years’ recent experience
  • Passionate about providing a superb, professional and friendly service
  • Proactive and a positive can-do attitude
  • Possess the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Good IT skills
  • Smart and presentable
  • Full UK driving license
  • Have the right to work in the UK

Lettings Portfolio Manager - The Package:

  • Basic Salary £32,000
  • Car allowance £2,500
  • Commission estimated at £7,500

  • EOT scheme - percentage of company profit
