  • The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and the role is available immediately.

Our client is a leading independent estate and letting agent, established in 1985, owned by an Employee Ownership Trust, with offices across Kent, they have a passion for property and providing an unrivalled service to our clients, specialising in sales, and lettings.An exciting position has become available for a Lettings/Portfolio Manager to join their friendly team covering their Sevenoaks and Meopham Branches. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate that is looking to progress their career.They are looking for someone to grow and oversee their portfolio of circa 75 managed properties and 30+ let-only propertiesYou will cover all aspects of lettings apart from property management and client accounting as they have a dedicated Property Manager and Client Accountant that you will liaise with.

Role Responsibilities

  • The ability to generate and win business from both Landlords and Tenants
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
  • Providing consistently high levels of service and communication
  • Knowing a client’s requirements to ensure efficient service
  • Arranging and carrying out valuations
  • Organising and accompanying viewings
  • Obtaining viewing feedback and negotiating lets
  • Processing referencing
  • Preparing tenancy agreements & renewal agreements when required
  • Ability to serve Section 21, Section 13 and Section 8 notices.
  • Arranging: gas safety checks, EICRs, EPCs and maintaining compliance
  • Property Inspections
  • Organise/book Check ins/outs (they have a company that does these)

Role Requirements

  • Ideally ARLA qualified
  • Ideally 3 years’ recent experience
  • Passionate about providing a superb, professional and friendly service
  • Proactive and a positive can-do attitude
  • Possess the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Good IT skills
  • Smart and presentable
  • Full UK driving license
  • Live within a commutable distance of the offices
  • Have the right to work in the UK

Package per annum

  • Basic Salary £28-30,000 (depending on experience)
  • Car allowance £2,500pa
  • % of Lettings Income across the branches
  • Realistic OTE £38,000
  • EOT scheme - percentage of company profit

Hours of work

  • Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm
