Job Title: English Teacher

Salary: £150 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic school in Sevenoaks. The successful candidate will inspire students in their English studies while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students is highly desirable, as this role will involve providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs.
As an English teacher, you will inspire students to explore literature and develop their writing skills. You will create engaging lessons that foster a love for reading and effective communication.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across a range of key stages, ensuring effective learning outcomes.
- Provide tailored support for SEN students, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement creative teaching strategies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to encourage growth.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school initiatives.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and passion for English teaching.
- Experience working with SEN students is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and provide individualised support.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
