Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5
- Inspire and engage students with creative and effective teaching methods
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Foster a love for literature, language, and critical thinking among students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and contribute to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong subject knowledge in English
- Be passionate about teaching and committed to raising achievement for all students
- Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Be creative in approach to teaching, ensuring lessons are engaging and relevant to all learners
- Be committed to their own professional development and be a positive team player
