Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Salary: From £34,000 Earning Potential £50,000

Location: Sevenoaks/ Kent Area

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Weekly overtime rate is £22.50 per hour after 47.5 hours
  • Weekend overtime rate is £22.50 per hr
  • Bank holiday overtime rate is £30 per hr plus an additional £50 standby
  • 40 hours standard working week plus 2.5 hours per week unpaid lunch break. Plus 5 hours travelling time paid at £10 per hour
  • Non-Contributory company pension scheme (company pays 10%)
  • Death in Service. 4 times annual salary to nominated persons
  • Full training supplied although must have previous experience in electrical and engineering from previous employment.

As a Coffee Field Service Engineer, you will receive full training before joining the 1-4 weekend rota, allowing you to become an integral part of our team.


They are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Coffee Field Service Engineer to join their team; however, experience in another electro-mechanical field service role would be considered.

Main duties and responsibilities for a Field Service Engineer:

  • Install, commission and set up the commercial coffee equipment
  • Perform pre-planned preventative maintenance services as a Field Service Engineer
  • Attend re-active break down and repair call outs
  • Operator training (e.g. operation and cleaning of coffee equipment)
  • Self-sufficient management of spare parts stock holding in service van
  • To manage and supply timely paperwork, including full completion of service reports (with photos if required) as a Field Service Engineer
  • To support colleagues and engage pro-actively with all areas of the business

Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 in 4 Weekend)
