Sales Manager - WasteWater Treatment

WasteRecruit is excited to partner with an industry leader in environmental products, technology, and installation solutions to recruit an experienced Sales Manager for the Wastewater Treatment (WWT) sector.

We’re looking for a technically skilled, proactive, and enthusiastic Sales Manager with a proven track record in capital/process equipment sales to support ambitious growth targets. This senior role reports directly to the Managing Director and is integral to our market expansion strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including markets, clients, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Strategic Sales: Design and implement strategies to convert leads into successful sales.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with new clients, assess their needs, and create proposals to address them.
  • Account Management: Cultivate and grow relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
  • Pitching & Presentation: Deliver high-quality sales presentations online and in person, tailored to client needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated experience in capital/process equipment sales within the WWT sector.
  • Industry Connections: Strong network among wastewater operators, design consultants, and tier 1 & tier 2 contractors.
  • Sales Presentation & Marketing Skills: Ability to deliver technical sales presentations and successful marketing campaigns.
  • Technical Competence: Adept at understanding technical drawings and proposing solutions for client challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in conveying complex technical and commercial details at both board and operational levels.
  • Tech Savvy: Solid IT skills, particularly within Microsoft Office.
  • Creative and Strategic: Able to think both strategically and creatively in developing growth opportunities.
