Principal Software EngineerSevenoaks - 2 Days in the Office£90,000-£100,000 + £10k BonusI’m currently working for one of the biggest global companies within motorsport who are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their growing team in Kent. The company are an institution steeped in history and heritage and operate across many different avenues making it an interesting role with lots of variety.As a Principal Software Engineer you will lead from the front and set the tone from a technical standpoint and have aspirations to step into a lead role. Having previous lead experience is not essential but would be hugely beneficial.The role sits within the Microsoft Tech Stack with C#/.Net but the role has a wide range of technical requirements such as experience with LINQ, Asynchronous Programming, Message Buses, Event Streams, Object Oriented Programming, Threading & Pub/Sub Type Mechanisms.You will be working on a variety of different applications across many branches of the business, joining a development team of around 10 and providing mentoring support where necessary.This company are based near Sevenoaks and require office working of 2 days a week. The role would also require international travel for 3 weekends of the yearTechnical Requirements - Minimum of 8 years’ experience within Software Development.
- Desire to step into a leadership role in future.
- Essential Skills: C#, .Net, Threading, Asynchronous Programming, LINQ, OO, SQL, RabbitMQ.
- Desirable Skills: C++, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Cloud.
- Happy working 3 weekends a year - UK or International.
- Confident working across different teams.
- Have a degree in Computer Science or similar.
Salary/Benefits - £90,000-£100,000
- £10k Bonus.
