Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to support children with severe and complex needs, including those with physical, emotional, and learning disabilities.
  • Assist in delivering tailored learning plans, sensory activities, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide one-on-one support where necessary to ensure the safety, well-being, and educational development of each student.
  • Foster an environment that promotes independence, communication, and positive behaviour.
  • Help with personal care tasks such as feeding, changing, and mobility assistance, as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to assessments and reviews.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • A caring, patient, and resilient attitude with a commitment to supporting students' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff, therapists, and families.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and respond to the individual needs of each student in a flexible and proactive manner.
