About the role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing tailored lessons that foster their academic and personal growth. Join us to help create a nurturing environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential!
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
- Plan and teach lessons that meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
- Provide personalised support and guidance to autistic students, helping them grow academically and personally.
- Work with other teachers and outside professionals to create strong support plans for SEN students.
- Keep accurate records of student progress, making sure all paperwork is up to date.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience of working in a secondary school is preferred.
- Experience of working with SEN students.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions, including behaviour management techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
