Are you an experienced SENCO looking for a new challenge?

I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of our forward thinking secondary schools. Our clients seek an inspirational SENCO who is committed to inclusion and has the desire to maintain the highest standards of provision for SEND students.

You will be supporting pupils with their academic, personal and social development. The SENCO will also be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher. The school has a larger than average number of pupils on the national SEND register so the role is demanding and challenging but very rewarding.

The ideal candidate will:

  • hold the National Award for SENCO or be committed to working towards it.
    have a wide experience of working with pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • have an excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
  • have a creative approach to improve engagement and motivation to learn
  • have an excellent track as a Teacher for students with special educational needs
