7.5t Road Sweeper Driver

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled 7.5t Road Sweeper Driver to join our team and help us keep our city tidy.

Job Description:

Are you a skilled driver with a passion for keeping our environment clean? We’re seeking a dedicated 7.5t Road Sweeper Driver to operate our dust carts and ensure the timely collection of waste across our service area. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 7.5t Road Sweeper, driving in the surrounding areas of Sevenoaks and sweeping the roads
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure it is in good working condition
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and report any issues or delays

Requirements:

• Valid UK driver’s license a clean driving record is preferable but no more than 6 points 
• Full CPC, Tacho card and C1 Licence
• Previous experience as a driver, preferably with experience operating dust carts or similar vehicles.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
