The role of Fabricator Welder would suit a reliable person who takes pride in their work, able to work well within the existing team and on own initiative at times. In addition, this role could suit full or part-time Monday to Friday.
Your day-to-day responsibilities would be:
- Fabricate and assembly of metal structures.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workspace.
- Finished products are of good quality and adhere to standards.
- Maintaining all equipment and tools in good working order.
- Occasional steel deliveries and installations.
Skills, experience and abilities required of a Fabricator Welder:
- Proficient in stick, MIG welding and oxy cutting equipment to a high standard.
- TIG welding would be a bonus.
- Experience welding non-ferrous metals useful but not essential.
- comfortably read and interpret technical/engineering drawings to determine project specifications.
- Ability to use power tools efficiently.
- Basis mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance.
