We’re looking for a switched-on, forward-thinking digital marketer to work with Niwaki’s Head of Marketing in the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives.

The core responsibilities of the role will include managing paid digital campaigns, optimising web performance (including SEO and organic traffic), managing paid social and email marketing campaigns, analysing data, reporting on performance and making data-driven recommendations.

More specifically, you’ll be working across the following areas:

Paid Digital

  • Set-up and ongoing management/optimisation of Google Ads campaigns.
  • Keyword research, test and learn campaign development.
  • Identifying and resolving limitations.
  • Planning and monitoring Google ad spend within context of wider marketing budget.
  • Recommend, implement and monitor additional paid digital initiatives.

Web

  • SEO copy recommendations and implementation using the Niwaki CMS platform.
  • Work with Tech Development Manager to implement website updates including new product launches, product page updates etc.
  • Work with the Content Team to plan and assist with implementation of content updates.
  • Ongoing ad-hoc support to Tech Development and Content Team as needed.

CRM

  • Work with Head of Marketing to implement a comprehensive CRM system covering customer data, web traffic, social media engagement and more.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns incorporating regular updates, personalisation, a/b testing, loyalty driving initiatives etc.

Social Media

  • Work with the Content Team and Head of Marketing in building and maintaining Niwaki’s unique brand presence across multiple social media channels.
  • Help to maintain Niwaki’s existing brand personality.
  • Work with the Content team to help coordinate organic social media and conduct test and learn paid social media campaigns.
  • Daily interaction with our Niwaki community on social media platforms to grow engagement and following.
  • Work with Head of Marketing to develop strategies to increase follower numbers and engagement, primarily via Instagram and LinkedIn.

Reporting

  • Creating weekly and monthly KPI reports covering Google ad campaign performance, paid and organic social, web traffic etc.
  • Develop meaningful reporting system to keep key stakeholders updated on KPIs, recommended adjustments and sales attribution.
  • Monitor and report on competitor social media activity.

To excel in these tasks, we’re looking for someone with the following skills:

Essential

  • Minimum 5+ years hand-on experience working in a Digital Marketing role.
  • High level of proficiency in managing, interpreting and reporting campaign data.
  • An extensive, deep knowledge of social media platforms together with experience of running paid social media campaigns.
  • Experience of CRM and email marketing.
  • A get up and go, can-do attitude.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • A passion for digital marketing with an ability to analyse and interpret data to tell an accessible story to internal stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience of working with a CMS.
  • Gardening/lifestyle sector experience.
