Energy Efficiency Surveyor – Planned Works Contract Opportunity via BRC Jobs:               Energy Efficiency Surveyor         Location:        Dorset / Hybrid working, travel to Somerset & Hampshire  Sector:            Housing & Property   Contract:        6 months (Potential to go permanent)  Hourly Rate:   £24.00 PAYE  BRC are working with a reputable Housing  Association in the South West to recruit for an Energy Efficiency Surveyor to take the lead in Energy Efficient Planned Programmes for their housing stock across Dorset, Somerset and Hampshire. Main Responsibilities: 
  1. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of the energy efficiency investment programme, ensuring that the properties’ data is collected and accurately processed
  2. Carrying out property surveys and responsible for contractor management, overseeing the planned works being carried out to properties for energy efficiency upgrades – with a focus on checking Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation to social housing properties
  3. Provide project support with various EWI (external wall insulation) projects and carrying out cavity wall inspections with use of a borescope
  4. To provide project support with developing, and running various Cavity Wall and loft insulation programmes and loft insulation programmes
  5. You will be responsible for managing budgets and arranging for planned works to be conducted to improve the energy efficiency of properties
  6. Carry out post inspections for cavity wall and loft insulations, ensuring works are carried out to a high standard, raising any repairs/decorations to be carried out by contractors
  7. Collect stock data, monitoring KPIs and preparing reports in relation to energy efficiency work including retrofit programmes
 Job Requirements:
  1. HNC/HND or Equivalent
  2. Driver with access to a vehicle
