Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this people centric Organisation with a base between Shaftesbury and Warminster to recruit an enthusiastic HR Administrator / Assistant on a permanent basis.

There is a requirement for 1 day per week in the office on a Wednesday, you can do more days if you choose / the rest of the week is remote / at home. Ideally the role is full time, however there is flexibility for 4 days / compressed working week - flexibility is there for the right person.

The purpose of the role is to provide a professional and effective day-to-day human resource administration service for employees, managers and other workers. You will provide support in a timely and initiative-taking manner, providing direct support to the Organisation.

About the role:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and induction arrangements are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, adhering to set timelines and communicating effectively with relevant departments to complete termination arrangements
  • Proactively maintain accuracy of HRIS by promptly updating employee details as changes occur
  • Handle telephone and email queries professionally, fostering effective communication with managers and colleagues
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Support HR projects to enhance processes and employee experience
  • Conduct HR inductions for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation
  • Manage and update contracts, ensuring accuracy of essential details before issuance
  • Document and follow HR transactional processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize the employee experience
  • Providing data and system support for HR business-as-usual activities

About you:

  • Experience of working in a busy administration role (ideally but not essentially within HR)
  • Experience administering various processes and procedures
  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task in an organised manner displaying excellent time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work tasks whilst understanding how to prioritise, including managing a busy shared inbox
  • Willing to undertake CIPD Level 3 qualification (this could be funded)
  • Excellent oral and written skills which facilitate effective communication at all levels, including ability to take minutes where needed
  • Discreet and professional with the ability to understand the sensitivity of information you will be exposed to and an aptitude for maintaining information silos as needed
  • Ability to use own initiative and take ownership of work but recognises when to escalate issues
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues
  • Approachable, confident, comfortable being challenged and able to stand your ground when required
