We are seeking a dedicated, forward-thinking, and compassionate SENCo to lead and enhance SEND provision in a specialist educational setting for students aged 5-18 with ASD, ASC, SEMH, and associated needs.

Your Role:

  • Delivering High-Quality SEND Provision - Ensure effective SEND support that enables students to thrive.
  • Driving Effective Teaching & Interventions - Implement quality-first teaching and refine intervention strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making - Use student data to inform planning and monitor progress.
  • Building Strong Relationships - Collaborate with students, staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Embedding a Positive Ethos - Promote an inclusive, aspirational learning culture.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Experience in leading and coordinating SEND provision
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with complex needs
  • The ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

This role is subject to the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018, and all successful applicants will undergo a fully Enhanced DBS check.
