Delivery & Collection Driver
Location: Sheerness, Kent
PAYE Rate: £11.44, rising to £11.84 p/h after 12 weeks
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract Type: 12 weeks Temp to Perm
Our client’s successful automotive team in Sheerness is looking for multiple Delivery & Collection Drivers to join their ranks. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting a range of vehicles, from prestige models to everyday makes, while ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect vehicles, including prestige models.
- Inspect vehicles before departure and log details using a smartphone app.
- Communicate ETAs with vehicle owners and perform handover inspections.
- Occasionally use public transport between jobs (expenses reimbursed).
Requirements:
- A clean UK driving licence (held for 2+ years) and age 25+ (insurance purposes).
- Good knowledge of UK roads.
- A skilled, competent driver who enjoys being on the road.
- Enthusiastic about the latest electric vehicle technologies as well as traditional vehicles.
- Flexible with working hours and confident using public transport.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
- Customer service experience (desirable but not essential).
- Fluent English.
