Purpose of the Role:
As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will follow predefined manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality box build products. Overtime during peak periods will be essential to meet customer deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production teams in manufacturing activities.
  • Perform and prepare build, test, or inspection activities before and during product manufacturing.
  • Deliver production requirements by adhering to established instructions and processes.
  • Provide electronics assembly inspection support.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation to ensure traceability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strive for zero defects in line with ISO9001 quality management standards.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Strong GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Proficient hand soldering skills, adhering to IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-610 & IPC-7711/7721 (Class 3).
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations to ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment.
  • General experience in box build manufacturing processes.
  • Proven proficiency in a range of processes through job-related training and on-the-job experience.
  • Basic PC skills with good time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain high production standards and efficiency.
  • Ability to actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Familiarity with working in high-technology environments.
